New worker is a first for Norfolk Mothers' Union

“This is an exciting move for the Mothers’ Union in the Norwich Diocese,” said MU Diocesan President Win Sutton. “We are looking forward to seeing the profile of the MU, and the many excellent volunteer hours given by our members, increased among the church and the general public.

Barbara’s background is in journalism and she has spent most of her career working in the voluntary sector, most recently as Project Co-ordinator of gaps:line for Bryan Gunn’s Appeal

“I am looking forward to working with over 1200 MU members in their support of family life in local communities through projects, prayer and policy change,” she said. “I believe the MU’s invaluable work in Norwich has for too long been ‘under the radar’ and it’s time that changed!”
