Norfolk team complete decade of India mission

TinaPawseyIndia2010: Five Norfolk Christians from several different churches are part of a team of seven, heading for a mission in South India in January, completing a decade of such trips. Team member Nick Nundy reports.
This will be the tenth ‘Together For God’ (TFG) Mission since the first in the year 2000. The team will be speaking in Pastors conferences and Gospel-meetings and a Ladies conference. They will visit Bangalore, Hosur and Pondicherry. They will also visit a church school and a church orphanage.

The 2010 mission team consists of: Pastor Roger Pawsey (Team Leader) and Tina Pawsey (pictured above) and Martina Rappenecker from Watton Pentecostal Church; Pastor Vic Hudson, Crossways Christian Centre, St Ives, Cambridgeshire;  Pastor Alan Field, Averley Christian Centre, Essex; and Nick Nundy and Rachel Snell, Earlham Christian Centre, Norwich.

The TFG missions have proved to be of great benefit and encouragement to mission team members from a number of denominational backgrounds. This is a great opportunity for Christians from different churches to work together, both with each other and with the Christians in South India.

Their host in South India is Bishop Francis Jackson from KMP Church, Bangalore.

Since the year 2000, each year there has been many opportunities to befriend local Indian people, including an ‘under the skin’ experience of Indian life. Also an opportunity to enjoy an environment that teaches team building and lends itself to personal growth and development.

The TFG team is different each year and there are usually some members who are going for their first time and some members who have been with TFG several times before.
