Sasha Caridia will be the speaker at the June meeting of North Norfolk Filling Station. 
Sasha is a Health Professional who is passionate for the Kingdom of God, His Presence, for healing to be fully re established as central to the good news of the Kingdom and seeing the realities of Heaven released on Earth. She is involved in the local church context helping people to discover the supernatural reality of God in their lives and the potential for this to impact and influence every place we go, she lives with the question “what would it look like if the Bride fully realised who she is”? All are welcome for an evening of fellowship, wonderful worship followed by the main talk. There will also be a time  for prayer ministry at the end of the evening. Exploring Science and Faith with Young People. What kind of answers should we provide to a range of questions that young people often ask: -
‘Does science disprove God?’; ‘Why doesn’t the Bible mention dinosaurs?’; ‘Could robots or aliens be religious?’; ‘What really makes me ‘me’?’
Steph Bryant will share her experiences as a member of the Youth and Schools Team, based at the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion in Cambridge.

It is part of our annual fundraising for Christian Aid so all proceeds will go to Christian Aid.

Judith’s exhibition opens on Friday June 28 with formal exhibition opening at 6.30pm lasting for 2 hours.  Light refreshments will be available and donations towards the planned conservation of the interior of the church will be welcome.
 
On Saturday June 29, the exhibition will be open from 11am to 5pm. There will be a picnic in the churchyard at 1pm, and the Patronal Service is at 2.30pm conducted by the Rev David Longe, vicar of Saxthorpe. The exhibition will then run until July 5.

Music For a Summer Evening. The Anglian Singers with guest cellist Emma Ship for “Music on a Summer Evening.”  The Anglian Singers are a friendly, mixed choir of approximately 30 voices, based in Norwich. They aim to cover a variety of musical styles from the classical, folk, jazz and musical. Refreshments available and donations accepted on the evening for Stalham Baptist Church.

Orchestra set to perform in Norwich church 
Trinity United Reformed Church in Norwich is staging an orchestral concert in aim of the Priscilla Bacon Lodge Support Group? on Sunday June 30 at 3pm.

St Gregory's Orchestra, (conducted by Martin Wyatt) will play a selection of sings from the musical Oklahoma by Rodgers & Hammerstein
 
There will be a Sonata for Clarinet and Orchestra by Ian Hytch, with soloist Rachel York, conducted by the composer
 
Also being performed will be New World Symphony No9 by Dvorak

The Searchlight Theatre Company are bringing their comedy Would You Adam And Eve It? to Norfolk for one night only. 
The hilarious show is the outcome of telling two very funny men who like to make people laugh to dramatise all 90 chapters from the first two books of the Bible. With a few strategic speedy bits to help it achieve its running time, it has amazed audiences around the world for the last 10 years, including an award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017. 
The visit to North Walsham is part of a 15-date tour around the UK in partnership with the Bible Society who believe that when people engage with the Bible, lives can change - for good.

The Matthew Project are offering 2 hours of introductory drug and alcohol training for Norfolk’s church leaders and workers that could help to provide better support around substance misuse.

The practical 2-hour seminar at St Luke’s Church on Aylsham Road will cover:
  • Norfolk’s drug and alcohol problem
  • The impact of substance misuse
  • Recognising the signs of misuse
  • How you can help people with misuse issues, and when and who to refer to
  • How to support those affected by the misuse of others

The training is run by professional practitioners and costs £8 including handouts.

The Norwich Branch of the Disabled Christians Fellowship (DCF) meets at Witard Road Baptist Church on the second Thursday of each month for Christian fellowship, fun, and afternoon tea/snacks.
