Wholeness and Healing at Norfolk Broads churches

2018: A series of monthly “Wholeness and Healing” services at Broadland churches is starting this month in Ludham.

A group of four parishes in the Norfolk Broads, Catfield, Hickling, Ludham and Potter Heigham, which comprise the Waterside Benefice are developing many new ways of reaching out to the surrounding community.

One of these is ‘Wholeness and Healing’ services which will start on Sunday May 13 at St Catherine’s Church in Ludham. The evening will be a time to be open and surrendered to the healing power of God, surrounded in love, prayer and peace.

Starting at 6.00pm with a time of coffee and chatting with friends leading in to a praise service at 6.30pm with an opportunity for individual prayer for healing and wholeness. This evening of prayer and praise is set to be a regular monthly event in the Waterside Benefice.

Wholness Healing poster 415CFRector Revd Deborah Hamilton-Grey, pictured above, said “The four churches of the Waterside Group Benefice are committed to providing a welcome to all members of the community and to our many visitors. We do this through prayer, visible witness and practical involvement in our individual parishes and in our community. The Waterside Group has a deep desire to show the grace of God in its community, guided by the example of Jesus Christ. We are a church that welcomes all people, whatever their age, background or beliefs. A warm welcome awaits all.”
