JamesPagetStaffChocolate750Gorleston hospital staff given 1,500 free chocolate bars

A team from Gateway Vineyard gave away an amazing 1,500 bars of chocolate in less than an hour today to grateful staff at the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston.

A Gateway team, led by Katie Mace, gave away bags of chocolates and fruit to non-clinical, ward and theatre staff as part of the Norwich church’s 1000 Hours of Kindness campaign for Lent.

Katie said: “It went really well and we ran out of chocolate after 45 minutes so Trevor had to go and buy some more. The staff were really grateful for the gifts.”
Sue Tearle, Head of Financial Services at the hospital said: "I would just like to say thank you for providing the staff at James Paget chocolate bars today. It was a very kind thought and much appreciated."

Debtor Clerk, Donna Wells, said: "Thank you so much for providing the James Paget Hospital NHS staff with our chocolate bars. What a lovely idea. I thoroughly enjoyed mine, it was a great boost to a very wet and windy Wednesday in April."
