Call to prayer

TabernacleCFNorwich prayer meeting hosted in indoor tabernacle

The next meeting of ‘Transforming the Atmosphere’, a group which prays for revival in Norwich, will be on Monday May 20, at 7.30pm and will be held inside a replica tabernacle at the House of Prayer.

Besides reviewing various aspects of this background ministry of praying for Norwich, the meeting will also present one or two encouragements from a recent conversation with Revd Dr Alistair Petrie. The meeting will also include an opportunity for local prayer-walking.
Nigel Fox reports:
“By the time we meet again this month, we anticipate having the ‘Tabernacle’ in place in the House of Prayer, together with its various features.
This will be an excellent setting for us to approach the Lord, and to seek His purpose for Norwich as a city, as we continue to prepare the ground and pray for the spiritual atmosphere to be transformed for a major move of God.
“To help our prayers for Norwich, we’ve developed some written thoughts based upon the intercession of Daniel 9. Covering most of the major areas of concern we’ve been tackling over last two years, it is offered as a prayer resource for all Christians, and especially those in leadership roles. It can be used alongside other materials during these days of praying “Thy Kingdom Come” and in preparation for Pentecost.”
Copies of the Daniel 9 prayer are available (free) at the House of Prayer.
The ‘Tabernacle’ will soon be available as a place for prayer and a teaching resource for groups. Please contact the office for pre-booking.
‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ meets monthly on third Mondays at the House of Prayer, on Fishergate, Norwich, NR3 1SE. The next meeting will be on 17th June. All are most welcome to join in.
