Norwich music duo nominated for UK Christian Charts

‘Home’, a song by The Family Table, a collaboration between Norwich Christian creatives Ben Lawrence and Sarah Ballard, has been nominated for a place in the UK Christian Music Chart this month.

The Family Table is a creative collaboration between Norwich Christians Ben Lawrence and Sarah Ballard. In May the pair of musicians and filmmakers released their debut EP ‘Conversations Around the Family Table’. Now the track ‘Home’ from the EP has been nominated for a place in June's Step FWD UK Christian Chart.

The Family Table tweeted: “Our song Home from our debut EP has been nominated for the UK Christian Independent Charts. There is a public vote - we'd love you to vote for us and enjoy some other independent artists at the same time!”

Voting is open until midnight on Thursday, July 4.  Click here to view the video, filmed at Ben’s childhood home in Sprowston, and to vote for your top three songs.

Other artists represented in the vote include Martin Smith who led worship at SOUL Church’s 5th Birthday celebration on Sunday evening and Lou Fellingham who played at Lighthouse Community Church in Sheringham last October.

The Family Table are currently on a mini tour playing intimate venues around Norfolk.
