Gorleston church quiz raises over £200 for charity 

Cliff Park Community Church’s quiz raised £210 for the children’s bereavement charity Nelson’s Journey.

The quiz was organised by Cliff Park Community Church which meets at Ormiston Cliff Park Primary Academy in Gorleston. Last Saturday, after a feast of fish and chips, nine teams took part and battled through the rounds, covering a wide variety of subjects. In the end the Fab 5 won by just half a point.
 
The entry money and donations on the night amounted to just over £210, which will be added to a collection from Sunday’s Carols and Coffee at the Pavilion and then sent to Nelson’s Journey, which supports children and young people in Norfolk who’ve experienced the death of a significant person.
 
Tracy Mayne, Administrator at Cliff Park Community Church said “What a great night we had last Saturday…A huge thank you to all who came and to those who helped and gave up their time to make the evening a huge success.”
